Mizzou Greek Life goes Multicultural
Behind the Project
Katie Hanneken
I was born and raised in St. Charles County, Missouri, and I am currently studying Strategic Communication in the Journalism School at the University of Missouri. There is nothing I love more than creating art, or appreaicating someone else's work. I hope to use my creativity in the future through advertising or event producing. Whenever I can get a break from Columbia I love to take trips to the city, my favorite place in the world! One day, I hope to set my roots down in Chicago or New York after I graduate from Mizzou.
Siqi Lin
I’m an international student from Canton, China who is currently studying strategic communication in the Journalism School, University of Missouri. I love travelling around the world to experience different culture and broaden my horizons; I have been to Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Singapore for summer school so far. Studying abroad in the U.S. is one of the most important decisions that I have ever made, I’m experiencing a totally different system here in America. Fraternity and sorority are kinds of typical American college culture that I have never experienced in my home country. Even though working on the topic about the diversity of Greek community is quite challenging for me, it’s really a good opportunity for me to know more about American culture and I learn a lot from this project.
Eva López
Hailing from Chicago, Eva Lopez is a sophomore studying Strategic Communications at the Missouri School of Journalism. She loves steak, going to concerts, sand volleyball, and her ancient 160 GB classic iPod. Eva hopes to one day work in public relations in the music industry.
